Nicole is a logistics expert with over 15 years of business operations experience working with local start-ups and small businesses. She has a keen interest in ensuring the core foundation and structure of an organization is sound and able to support its mission and goals. Having served in key management roles, she not only understands how fundamental operations are to the success of a business but also how to establish and align priorities to meet its growth targets.

Born and raised on the small island of Curacao, Nicole graduated from Tulane University’s Freeman School of Business and began her career at the renowned business incubator, The Idea Village. Her work there helped lead the growth of New Orleans’ entrepreneur community in the wake of Hurricane Katrina. She went on to serve as Director of Operations for several small businesses, including ARB Meetings and Events and Escape My Room. 



Ryan Mast has over 15 years of experience in the public sector developing and implementing forward-leaning projects and programs that reduce risk, build equity and increase adaptation to natural and man-made shocks and stresses. He brings a passion for working at the intersection of sound government policy and positive community outcomes. 


During his career, Ryan has led resilience and sustainability efforts in the cities of New Orleans and Albuquerque and devoted more than eight years of professional service to the Federal Emergency Management Agency supporting the multi-billion recovery effort in Louisiana. He was a Peace Corps Volunteer in Guatemala and a member of the W.K. Kellogg Foundation's inaugural Community Leadership Network Fellowship Program.
